I had my eyes layered, and now I can see. This zombie-like redness in my eyes (and I am quoting a very honest middler schooler on that description) lasted a few weeks.




The Running Room sponsored the Resolution Run on January 1. It was really cold out, and I watched Andy run it from inside the Running Room.



After the blizzard, there were no snowblowers left in Rochester. That’s ok because it gave us time to reconsider whether we wanted to make the investment in never shoveling again. Did we still want one? Oh, yes.
Kristi, Jon, Andy, and I were all out of things to do on Christmas Day so we toured Lawrence and ate Chinese food.
This Christmas we discovered Last Night on Earth, and Jon (as the zombies) triumphed. The family of Brian Wilson gave me my first Le Crueset pan.
Here we are traveling from Minnesota to KS. We know where all the Panera’s along the highways are.


We did have eminent refrigerator failure on our hands, so we spent the next day shopping for a new one. I found this really great model, which no one seemed to find funny.
