On this day, we went to Thursdays on First for dinner. Then we went to Mike and Katie’s to celebrate Katie’s birthday.

In January, we signed up for a half marathon, and this was the weekend we went to the cities to attend. Just in case this might be our last fun, we went to the Mall of America. We also went to pick up our shirts. I was happy that they assumed we would finish the race and gave us finisher shirts!

We grilled hobo dinners at at Woodside Park on Memorial Day. There was also some volleyball.

This race was a dress rehearsal for our half marathon, which was the following weekend. I took the first leg, from Bryon to the middle of nowhere. The miles went by quickly, although I have no idea where they went!! I passed the ankle bracelet to Amber and got on the bus back to the Y.

Oh, the frustration.

We went out to the garden plots one evening. It was probably a little too dark to take this picture.

This was my last ride on my old Specialized bike. Andy, Adam, Amber, and I biked to Pine Island on the Douglas Trail. We went to a restaurant that I am not going to talk about (and hopefully never visit again).

I don’t know if I have mentioned it before, but I want to say that lettuce is very easy to grow. It is a weed.
