We went to , Cold Stone, and then I took some photos of our Canadian smoke in Rochester. See how hazy it is?

We saw clouds worthy of photos.

You may have already seen Andy’s famous facebook video of our storm, but I’m going to post these pictures anyway! If we had looked through the dark and rain in these photos, it’s possible we would have seen the tornado.
Amber and I decided to go to Team Red for the first time, but there was a looming thunderstorm. Here we are at the Bear’s Den, trying to decide if it’s going to be cancelled. It wasn’t, and we totally beat the storm.

We went out to our very muddy garden plot, and we saw parachuters on the way home! Those guys are hard to catch on camera!
Get that ball over the net, and don’t run into anyone.

This year I decided to plant Scarlet Runner Beans in my hanging basket. Scarlet Runner Beans are supposed to have beautiful orange blossoms, and they produce edible beans. I thought this was win win!

In the end (yes, the plant is dead at the time of this writing), I learned two things.
1. Beans grow up. They will not grow down, even if they can.
2. If the plant is edible, other animals will want to eat it, too.
So, my plant did grow up. It was pretty and leafy despite the fact it was not hanging down. But eventually, we noticed something was wrong with it. And we were puzzled until we saw the birds eating it.

On this day, we went to Thursdays on First for dinner. Then we went to Mike and Katie’s to celebrate Katie’s birthday.
This is what you get when you try to take a picture during a race. My advice is to not bother trying.
