I’m watching Ugly Betty and I’m entertained.

I’ve been watching Ugly Betty. There is a marathon on Abc Family today. It is very entertaining! It’s like The Devil Wears Prada without all the bad vibes. They have mentioned shoes more than once, so Lee, if you’re listening, you would probably like this show!

Evolution of Dance

So we were driving home from Hutchinson, Kansas two days ago and I was listening to NPR, which is the only thing that keeps me awake on long drives, and I heard a story about YouTube. In case you didn’t know, YouTube is a video sharing site, that was started just a few years back and this year sold for 1.65 billion dollars (yeah I said billion) to Google. It seems all you have to do is find that simple concept that balloons in the “next big thing”, such as MySpace or Digg, and you will be a very rich person. So they were also talking about the most viewed videos of all time and #1 spot was something that I had remembered watching a while back. If you haven’t seen it, it’s really worth a watch. I’ll post it down below.

We’re back and I can drive.

I can drive Andy’s car now. Not very well, and especially not very well in town, but I have some basic skills now. I had two excellent teachers, Andy and my aunt Barb. So on our drive back Andy didn’t have to drive all ten hours!

Now we’re back and enjoying the rest of our vacation. We looked at wedding bands yesterday and then did other less glamorous errands. That’s all for now.

My Day Off

Today was my day off. I was out shopping for nearly all of my Christmas gifts this morning starting at 9. After three exhausting hours, I was done. Then I came home and wrapped them. Or to be more accurate, I stuff most of the presents in bags with tissue paper. While I was doing that I watched all the Friends, Sex and the City, and Arrested Development episodes that Tivo had recorded. I eventually ran out and had to watch a movie.

I went through my books and picked out the worst ones I have and I’m going to add them to bookmooch. I’m willing to give these away to anyone here who wants them as well, but FYI I didn’t like any of them.

Janet Evanovich: One For The Money

Jim Crace: Being Dead

C. J. Cherryh: The Faded Sun Trilogy

Norman Mailer: Ancient Evenings

Eoin Colfer: Artemis Fowl

Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins: Left Behind and Tribulation Force.
